Today is really windy, which normally isn't such a big deal.
Except it's coming from the north.
Where there is a dead cat in the ditch.
Again, normally not a big deal. However, today our border collie mix caught a whiff of it and, as anyone with outdoor dogs knows, she rolled around in it! If it smells bad to humans then it smells great to dogs. Needless to say she reeked. So we threw her in a cage and hosed her down. Add a little dog shampoo and she doesn't smell as bad.
I love our dogs but sometimes they can be such an ache...
